PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To have contents of remote operation codes stored in the automatic answering telephone set with remote control function recorded onto a storage medium of a facsimile equipment by operating the facsimile equipment at a visiting place. SOLUTION: When a code to extract an operation table listing contents of remote control codes is entered from a facsimile equipment at a visiting place (S3), the automatic answering telephone set with remote control function receives the control codes to send a voice guidance and proceeds to a FAX transmission protocol (R2) and sends data of the operation table to the facsimile equipment as image data. The facsimile equipment receives the image data and records the data on its storage medium. Thus, the user of the automatic answering telephone can view the operation table at a visiting place.
