PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent both parts from breaking owing to the interference of a movable part of a transfer feeder or the like when an abnormality is generated in a control system of a servo driving means. SOLUTION: A safety device is composed of a cam driving means 12 which mechanically synchronizes feed carriers 6 of a transfer feeder with a press main body 1 and operates the feed carriers 6 in the feeding direction, a servo driving means 13 which drives the feed carriers 6 in the feeding direction with a feed motor 21 consisting of a servomotor, and a driving force switching means 18 which is provided between both driving means. The feed carriers 6 are driven with the servo driving means 13 in a normal time and the feed carriers 6 are driven with the cam driving means 12 which is switched from the servo driving means 13 in an abnormal time. Whereby, the press main body is mechanically synchronized with the transfer feeder 2, and a movable part of the press main body or the like is prevented to interfere with a movable part of the transfer feeder 2 or the like. |
