PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector in which an FPC(Flexible Printed Circuit) is prevented from being turned and detached even when the FPC is pulled. SOLUTION: An electric connector 10 comprises an FPC holding plate 24 having a projecting part to press and FPC 28 in one direction and a turnable engagement shaft 20, a contact 14 having a contact part to be brought into contact with the FPC 28, a fixed part to be fixed to an insulation body 12 and a connection part to be connected to a substrate, the insulation body 12 which holds and fixes he contact 14, is provided with a groove 22 to store the FPC the holding plate 24, and provided with an engagement hole 18 (fixing means) in which the engagement shaft 20 is fitted in each side wall. The engagement hole (fixing means) of the insulation body 12 is provided close to a fitting port 26 side, and the engagement shaft 20 of the FPC holding plate 24 is provided at the position corresponding to the engagement hole 18 (fixing means). |
