<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and equipment for washing a toilet bowl which dispense with maintenance and is safe for a user and which can also prevent effectively the toilet bowl from being stained, can suppress sufficiently production of ammonia and thus can cope with an offensive smell sufficiently, in comparison with a usual method wherein an acid substance is added. SOLUTION: A toilet bowl Al is provided with a continuous type electrolytic cell 1 having at least a pair of electrodes, a flow path formed between the electrodes and a liquid inflow port and a liquid outflow port communicating with the flow path. City water is electrolyzed by the continuous type electrolytic cell 1 and free chlorine is generated. When the water containing the generated free chlorine is made to flow through the toilet bowl Al, the water containing the free chlorine effects sterilization in the toilet bowl and suppresses the action of decomposition of urea by urease which bacteria have. Thereby sticking of urolith to the surface of the toilet bowl and a toilet bowl trap, coloring and generation of an offensive smell are suppressed.</p> |
