PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a copying device having an operator control panel provided with a display screen and some keys. SOLUTION: A template sentence having some word fields in which a user fills is displayed on the operator control panel 207. A word capable of being put in the respective word fields is displayed in the word field, and the user can select one of the words. When the user selects the word in the respective word fields, a command which can be interpreted by the copying device is formed with a natural language. Thus, the specified values of copy job, printing job and scanning job to be performed can be inputted in a machine, and a question for help can be formed. Complicated job input and the formation of the question for the adequate help can be particularly simplified for a user in this way. |
