PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a car from sinking at the time of long sloppage of a hydraulic elevator device due to power failure or the like. SOLUTION: This device moves up a car 1 by feeding pressure oil to a hydraulic cylinder 2 and moves down the car 1 by returning the oil to a tank 5. In this case, a feed path of pressure oil to the hydraulic cylinder 2 is provided with a stop valve controlled to open/close by a specified signal, and the stop valve is closed when the hydraulic elevator device is stopped due to power failure or failure. Since the pressure oil feed path is cut off at the time of power failure or failure, sinking of the car 1 caused by oil pressure escape or the like can be prevented even in case of long stoppage. |
