PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of lamination for protecting a substrate from damage when a laminated protective film is removed and a laminate prepared by the method. SOLUTION: A laminate 16 is formed from a light transmitting resin film and a thermoplastic resin film, both sides of a substrate 8 are covered with the laminate with the thermoplastic resin film turned inside, and the laminate is hot-pressed from both sides. A unoriented polypropylene film is used as the thermoplastic resin film.
