PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ease exudation of ink in an ink-jet recording system. SOLUTION: A correction table and an error table are installed. In the correction table, a count of discharge ink dots designated for each color in a unit area is preliminarily set in a correspondence with a combination of the counts, which is limited so that a sum of the counts does not exceed a preliminarily set upper limit. In the error table, an error brought about when the limited count of discharge ink dots of each color is set is preliminarily set correspondingly to the combination of the designated counts of discharge ink dots for each color in the unit area. At the time of printing, a count of discharge ink dots for each color after corrected is determined for each unit area from the correction table correspondingly to the combination of the counts of discharge ink dots designated for each head on the basis of binary image data. At this time, errors of the error table are accumulated for every unit area, and an integral part when appearing in the accumulated value is reflected to the count of discharge ink dots and moreover the accumulated error is renewed. |
