PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fasten or loosen a nut under a condition that the nut is mounted completely perpendicularly to the axial line of a bolt. SOLUTION: This nut 1 has a screw with which, as a constituent member, for example, a bolt and a stud are engaged, and a plurality of screw members 4 which is extended through these constituent members and a gear 6 is arranged at its one end part so that engagement and rotation can be simultaneously performed by an additional member. By the foregoing structure, this fastening device by which the screw members 4 adjusted to be placed opposite to a subject 15 can be simultaneously rotated and the nut 1 is fastened and loosened, contains an element that the originally designed nut 1 and the gear 6 of each screw member 4 are simultaneously engaged with each other or rotated so as to fasten the nut 1.
