PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate fixing of a heat storage medium to a burner body and replacing thereof and to switch supply air and exhaust air at high speed while preventing leakage. SOLUTION: In a heat storage burner system performing alternate combustion by supplying an exhausting combustion air alternately through a heat storage medium 32, the heat storage medium 32 is built in the supply/exhaust throat 28 of a burner body 20 and coupled directly with means 1 for switching the channels of combustion air and exhaust gas so that combustion air and exhaust gas are switched in the proximity of the burner body 20. Since purge capacity is reduced, high speed switching is effected while suppressing fluctuation of furnace pressure and high temperature air combustion can be realized by enhancing temperature efficiency thereby obtaining high temperature preheated air. |
