PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive photosensitive compsn. and a positive photosensitive lithographic printing plate which show excellent contrast between an image part and a non-image part and enough film remaining rate in the image part, and moreover, which have excellent printing durability. SOLUTION: This positive photosensitive compsn. contains a component of a photo-thermal converting material which absorbs light from an image exposure light source and converts into heat, and a component of an alkali- soluble org. polymer material having phenol-type hydroxyl groups. This org. polymer material consists of an alkali-soluble org. polymer material comprising a compd. having one phenol-type hydroxyl group bonded per one aromatic ring and an alkali-soluble org. polymer material comprising a compd. having two or more phenol-type hydroxyl groups bonded to one aromatic ring. The positive photosensitive lithographic printing plate is produced by forming a layer of the photosensitive compsn. above described on the surface of a supporting body. |
