<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust a swelling process of an air bag as quickly as possible by constituting an adjuster so as to adjust at least discrete different two flow- pass cross sections. SOLUTION: A gas volume flow reaching in a gas cushion reduces in the discrete stage by reducing a free cross section of a break-through opening 2 by one or both sliders 5, 6 in an air bag trigger or just after the air bag trigger when an obstacle such as personnel staying in an out off position is detected by a single sensor device. Driving packing materials 7, 8 to quickly react the sliders 5, 6 are ignited by an impression of a control signal on at least a single connecting part 10, 11, 12, and in this case, a flow-pass cross section can be reduced in the discrete stage by a proper combination in relation to a necessary reduction in the gas volume flow on the basis of a position, a characteristic and the size of the obstacle of an expansion chamber of the gas cushion.</p> |
