PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the leakage current of a first conductive type transistor of a pixel matrix to obtain a clear picture having no cross talk and to increase the speed of a sampling means by making the gate length of the first conductive type transistor of the pixel matrix to be longer than the gate length of the first conductive type transistor of the sampling means. SOLUTION: A source line driver circuit 12 is controlled by a shift register 13 and its output and has plural sampling means which conduct samplings of data signals and supply the sampled data to plural source lines 26 to 28. Moreover, the register 13 has a first conductive type second transistor and a second conductive type third transistor and the sampling means has a first conductive type fourth transistor. Note that the gate length of a first transistor 29 is made longer than the gate length of the second transistor and the gate length of the second transistor is set longer than the gate length of the fourth transistor.
