PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a portable power tool for a long time without remarkably increasing the weight of the tool by comprising a cable for connecting a battery pack separated from a power tool, and the power tool. SOLUTION: A cable 22 electrically connects a low-speed battery pack 14 which is connected in parallel on a belt 18, with a power tool 12 through a removable connector 24. The cable 22 preferably incorporates a reel 20. The reel, 20 is an expandable device, and includes the cable 22 when it is not used. The low-speed battery means a battery which outputs the total energy capacity throughout a long time (for example, longer than 1 hour), but can not output the majority of capacity for a short time (for example, 5 minutes). |
