PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable using a communications equipment with register contents before change as they are without re-registering abbreviated dial data which is registered in an abbreviated dial number even at the time of changing the kind of the communications line under usage. SOLUTION: Abbreviated dial data corresponding to a dial pulse line is stored in an abbreviated dial data storage part 11 and also a selecting switch 9 for selecting one of the communications line kinds, that is, a dial pulse line or a touch tone line selects the touch tone line. In this case, a control circuit 7 processes a touch tone change-over signal included in abbreviated dial data which is read from the abbreviated dial storage part 11 as a discriminating signal provided between the dial number of abbreviated dial data corresponding to the touch tone line and a service number at the time of call originating by the abbreviated dial number.
