摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high Curie-point PTC thermistor composition and a method for manufacturing the composition. SOLUTION: A high Curie-point PTC thermistor composition is prepared by mixing a semiconducted material in a site-A excessive perovskite type barium-lead titanate series compound expressed by (Ba(1-X)PbxMy)TiO3 (where 0.4<=x<=1.0, 0<y<=0.15, and M represents one or two or more kinds of elements selected from among Ba, Sr, Pb, and Ca). To the semiconducted material, either one or both of Sb2 O3 and Nb2 O5 , either one or both of BN and GeO2 , and MnO2 can be added by 0.01-1.0 mol.%, 0.01-5 mol.%, and 0.01-0.10 mol.%, respectively. The Ba, Sr, Pb, and Ca added to the (Ba(1-X)Pbx)TiO3 compound are added in the forms of BaCO3 , PbO, SrCO3 , and CaCO3 .
