PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an objective lens from coming into contact with an optical disk due to an external impact by providing a lens holder holding the objective lens and providing a stopper projection at a supporting member supporting through an elastic member opposed to this projection. SOLUTION: The lens holder 4 is moved up/down and to right/left by force generated by a focus coil 6 and a tracking coil 7 to converge laser beams to an optical disk surface through the objective lens 3. When the external impact is applied to an optical disk driving device at this time, the lens holder 4 is excessively oscillated to allow the lens 3 to try to come into contact with an optical disk 1. Before this contact occurs, the projection provided at the holder 4 comes into contact with the stopper projection provided at a supporting part so as to make a pair with this projection 14 so that the lens 3 is prevented from coming into contact with the disk 1. |
