摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high-tenacity extrafine acrylic fiber having mechanical characteristics of high strength, having economic efficiency and applicable to industrial use, its staple, a sheetlike material containing the staple and a fiber composite material. SOLUTION: This high-tenacity extrafine acrylic fiber has <=0.3 denier single fiber fineness or <=3.5μm maximum thickness of fiber cross section, >=5 g/d tensile strength and >=15% elongation. Consequently, a sheetlike material containing >=10 wt.% of the high-tenacity extrafine acrylic fiber which is a staple having <=10 nm cut length and a fiber composite material containing >=10 wt.% of the high-tenacity extrafine acrylic fiber can be obtained.
