PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the weight balance of an image forming device by arranging components so that spaces in the image forming device are effectively used. SOLUTION: Out of plural paper-feed trays T1-T4 piled and arranged in multi-stages upward and downward, the width of the uppermost paper-feed tray T1 is formed shorter in the direction of paper feed than that of the lower paper-feed trays T2-T4. Then, the device is composed of the plural paper-feed trays T1-T4, an image carrier 16 arranged in a space Sa on the side of the upper paper-feed tray being a space above the paper-feed tray T1, an intermediate transfer body B and secondary transfer unit 31, a fixing device T arranged in a space Sb1 in the direction of the side of the uppermost tray being a space in the direction of the uppermost paper-feed tray T1 and in a space Sb2 in the direction above the side being a space above the space Sb1 and a developing device D arranged in the space Sb2 in the direction above the side. |
