PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive photosensitive compsn. and a positive photosensitive lithographic printing plate which show excellent contrast between an image part and a non image part, enough film remaining rate in the image part, and excellent printing durability, and which cause little contamination in the exposure light source system. SOLUTION: This compsn. contains a component of a photo-thermal converting material which absorbs light from an image exposure light source and converts into heat, and a component of an alkali-soluble org. polymer material having phenol type hydroxyl groups. The amt. of free phenol compds. derived from the alkali-soluble org. polymer material having phenol hydroxyl groups is <=3 wt.% of the whole compsn. The positive photosensitive lithographic printing plate is produced by forming a layer of the photosensitive compsn. above described on the surface of a supporting body. |
