PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the remote access public-leased line connection system at a low communication charge without causing deterioration in its access speed and to provide a portable terminal equipment therefor. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a portable radio terminal 112 that receives a resident area number from a base station in which the base station resides and dials a telephone number received from a data processing terminal 113 to the base station of the resident area and with a data processing terminal that receives the area number from the portable radio terminal that sequentially sends a 1st dial number of a 1st private branch of exchange resident closely from a telephone number table stored in advance and a 2nd dial number that is entered and connects to a server to be accessed based on a start command.
