<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably separate and feed sheet material without increasing the idling torque of a torque limiter even in the case of increasing sheet material feed speed in association with speeding up to a high rate. SOLUTION: This sheet material feeding device has pickup rollers 3 for feeding sheet material from a feeding deck, and a pair of rollers of feed rollers 1 and retard rollers 2 for separatively conveying sheet material fed by the pickup rollers 3, sheet by sheet. In this case, the sheet material fed by the pickup rollers 3 is fed the pair of rollers of feed rollers 1 and retard rollers 2 at lower speed than the specified feed speed.</p> |
