PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve gradation control performance in relation to ink-jet heads and ink-jet printers. SOLUTION: In an ink-jet head 21 in which the ink in an ink passage 14 is pressured thereby flying ink drops from a nozzle hole 13 communicating with the ink passage 14, the ink-jet head is provided with the ink passage 14, a pressuring means (piezoelectric driving electrode) 17 for pressing ink in the ink passage 14, a main body part 22 having the nozzle hole 13 and a control plate 23 for controlling a size of the ink drops at the outside of the nozzle hole 13. An ink-jet printer includes the ink-jet head 21 and a means for moving the ink-jet head 21 to a recording medium. |
