PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure and a method for connecting a circuit board to an external connector in which the positioning accuracy can be improved by physically positioning each signal line of the circuit board and a package in connecting the circuit board to the external connector. SOLUTION: In a connection structure of a circuit board 100 provided with a strip-like signal line 110 to an external connector 220 provide with an externally projected rod-like signal line 210, a positioning recess 120 capable of fitting the rod-like signal line is formed in the circuit board 100, and an external connection of the strip-like signal line reaches in the vicinity of an edge of the positioning recess. In this constitution, the circuit board 100 can not be physically connected to the external connector 220 unless the rod-like signal line of the external connector 220 on a package side is matched with the positioning recess in the circuit board 100. Thus, the circuit board 100 can be excellently positioned to the external connector 220. |
