PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the radio calling receiver by which a selection criterion is reported to the user to allow the user to select a reception area that is more surely received by displaying a selection object based on the reception state of each service area in the case that the reception area is selected manually. SOLUTION: An MPU 3 reads sequentially a service area name and its reception frequency registered in advance in a memory section 4, allows an RF section 1 to measure an detection section at the equipment frequency, the MPU 3 discriminates an electric field level of the measured electric field strength and allows a display section 6 to display the service area name and the electric field strength for each service area depending on disabled reception, weak, medium or strong electric field strength. |
