摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the durability and reliability of an ignition coil by suppressing the occurrence of partial defects in an insulating resin, resulting from the thermal shrinkage or thermosetting shrinkage of the resin. SOLUTION: An ignition coil 10 is provided with a case 11 and an inner core 12, a secondary coil 13, a primary coil 14, an outer core 15, etc., which are housed in the case 11. The space between each member housed in the case 11 is filled with an insulating layer 16 made of epoxy resin. The primary coil 14 is composed of a winding body 35 and sleeves 37 and 38 positioned to both end sections of the winding body 35. The inner peripheral surface of the winding body 35 is coated with a film 40. The film 40 is formed in a three-layer structure of a base layer 41 composed of glass cloth, a peeling layer 42 which is composed of silicon and comes into contact with the insulating layer 16, and an adhesive layer which comes into contact with the inner peripheral surface of the winding body 35.</p>
