PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-soluble film wherein its water solubility does not decrease with time even when it is used for unit packaging an acidic sub stance, a chlorine-contg. substance, an agricultural chemical preparation or the like. SOLUTION: This water-soluble film comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. modified polyvinyl alcohol having sulfo groups and (B) 0.05-20 pts.wt. pyrogallol or its 1-5C alkyl ester and is used for packaging an acidic substance, a chlorine-contg. susbtance, or an agricultural chemical preparation. A compsn. comprising (A) 100 pts.wt. modified polyvinyl alcohol having sulfo groups and (B) 0.05-20 pts.wt. pyrogallol or its 1-5C alkyl ester is also provided. |
