摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To concurrently improve the adhesive strength of a fuel electrode to a solid electrolyte, electric conductivity and permeability of fuel gas by forming the fuel electrode with multiple layers of a first fuel electrode layer and a second fuel electrode layer formed on the surface of the solid electrolyte, and controlling the metal grain size of the first and second fuel electrode layers. SOLUTION: A fuel electrode 4 is formed with a first fuel electrode layer 13 formed on the outside of a solid electrolyte 3 and a second fuel electrode layer 14 formed on its surface. The first fuel electrode layer 13 is constituted of at least one kind of metal grains selected from Ni, Co and Fe, ZrO2 grains and CeO2 grains, and it is baked on the surface of the solid electrolyte 3. The second fuel electrode layer 14 is constituted of at least one kind of metal grains of Ni, Co and Fe, ZrO2 grains and CeO2 grains. The ratio (R2/R1) between the average grain sizes R1, R2 of the metal grains of Ni, Co and Fe forming the first fuel electrode layer 13 and the second fuel electrode layer 14 satisfies 1.5<=(R2/R1)<=3.
