<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize deceleration control and alarm generation Matched with a sense of a driver, in a vehicle control device performing the deceleration control, alarm generation, etc., before a curve. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a curve detection means 1 detecting a curve in the forward of a self vehicle, passing car speed estimation means 2 estimating a passing car speed in the detected curve, deceleration intention detection means 3 detecting deceleration intention of a driver, car speed measurement means 4 measuring a self car speed, distance arithmetic means 5 calculating a distance to a curve start spot when the curve is detected further with the deceleration detected, deceleration arithmetic means 6 calculating a deceleration speed necessary for decelerating to an estimation passing car speed based on an output result of the car speed measurement means 4 and the distance arithmetic means 5, and a vehicle control means 8 performing deceleration control of the vehicle based on the calculated deceleration speed. In this way, deceleration control is performed in the timing matched with a sense of the driver and with a proper deceleration speed.</p> |
