PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing apparatus in which cost related to printing operation can be suppressed low and operational efficiency is high. SOLUTION: A printing apparatus is constituted of a hopper 2 for storing straw pipes 7 and feeding them to a rotating drum 3, a heat transfer printer 4 for printing letters on the outer peripheral faces of the straw pipes 7 during they are transferred, and a driving motor 5 for driving them and sets of a pair of rods 32 on which a straw pipe 7 is placed are freely rotatably provided in parallel to the rotating shaft 31 between both side disks 33 so as to rotate and move the straw pipes on the printing type face 42 of printing type 41 by placing a heat transfer sheet 46 face and a heat transfer sheet 46 between the straw pipe 7 and the printing type face 42.
