Boot which incorporates a highly advantageous set of elements as regards its structural composition. It involves total insulation of the wearer's foot from the outside, said foot being fully protected even in cases or situations which are more difficult and dangerous for the wearer. The boot of the invention complies, with a total guarantee, with all the requirements of the European standard, both in terms of its rigidity and in terms of antistatic conditions, since it possesses sufficient flexibility for the wearer to be able to move with ease. Amongst the component elements of the boot of the invention is a sock which is like a membrane located inside the boot, enclosing the foot, and the lower part of this sock is joined to a conductive insole glued to a metal sheet which is in turn glued to a sole of the boot. <IMAGE>
