<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a precise and reliable shear of a high-speed shearing machine for cutting a hot-rolled strip and a cold-rolled strip up to a strip speed of 30 m/s and even with a minimum strip thickness by avoiding an overload on and/or an imperfect shear by its cutters, its anvil or the jacket region of its opposed drum, and its drum working mechanism as well as drum support part. SOLUTION: The high-speed shearing machine uses one or more cutters (1) and 2, especially chisel cutters with a cutting edge, arranged on either of two opposed drums 6 and 7. The cutter (1) on the cutter drum 6 is made to project from a cutting circle 40 toward an anvil 24 or the jacket region of the drum 7 acting as an anvil, and is also flexible supported against at least one springy element with a presettable restoring force.</p> |
