PURPOSE:To prevent the curling of a prepreg even when the prepreg discharged from a drying furnace is transferred while changing the direction. CONSTITUTION:An endless belt 2 made of steel is installed on the outlet of a drying furnace 4. The steel belt 2 is passed around a pair of rolls 3, 3', the distance of the axes of which is 1500mm and whose diameters are 250mm, and driven. Water is flowed in the rolls 3, 3', and the rolls are kept at 20 deg.C. Consequently, the endless belt 2 is cooled by the rolls 3, 3' at all times. A prepreg 1 discharged from the drying furnace 4 is transferred and cooled under the state, in which the prepreg is abutted against the endless belt 2 first. Even when the direction of transfer is changed at approximately 120 deg. and the prepreg is received, curling of the prepreg is inhibited. |
