PURPOSE: To provide a resin-coated metal plate which has an excellent processability and processing corrosion resistance suitable for a thinned deep drawn can. CONSTITUTION: At least one side surface of a metal plate is covered with a polyester resin film of two layers in which the melting point of the polyester resin of the lower layer adjacent to the plate is 190 to 230 deg.C and the melting point of the polyester resin of the upper layer for forming a front layer is 210 to 250 deg.C. After coating, the plate is so covered with the film of the two layers that, when the surface orientation coefficient of the part adjacent to the plate of the lower layer resin is n1 and the surface orientation coefficient of the part of the uppermost surface of the resin of the upper layer is n2 , the n1 is 0.10 or less and n2 is 0.01 or more to 0.15. |
