PURPOSE:To correct the direction of flow-down and give a variety in the color on the flow- down face by constituting in the flow-down face of the energy collecting medium flow of a flow-down type energy collector a section that is excellent and a section that is poor in liquid holding property. CONSTITUTION:A material which consists of a synthetic resin base material A with the surface of which a cloth B of natural fiber or synthetic fiber that has liquid holding property is in face contact or a material which consists of a cloth B on one face of which synthetic resin is coated is used as the material. On the surface of the outside of the cloth molten resin C is supplied by a resin supply means 2 that is movable in the direction along the direction of flowing down of an energy collecting medium, and through many communication holes such as interstices or the holes in the weaving pattern of the cloth the molten resin C is made to adhere to the synthetic resin base material A. By cooling the resin is solidified to fix the cloth to the synthetic resin base material and, on the other hand, a section which has the liquid holding property reduced is formed on the cloth so as to restrict the direction of flowing down of the energy collecting medium and it is given directionality. And, by a diversification of the synthetic resin base material, cloth, and molten resin many designs of flowing down face are provided.
