The para glider comprises caissons which reduce the density from about 16 g.dcm<3> for parapentes to about 6 g/dcm<3>. The caissons are constructed with a wing profile (1) with a front opening (2) enabling the inflation of the caisson in flight. The caissons are arranged as a dihedral with a central pair and raised pair on the left and right.
