The sliding gate moves to and fro across an entrance by a hollow guide rail along its lower edge. The underside of the guide rail is open to receive a roller support in the form of a hollow beam (6) with pivoted rollers (9, 10, 11) projecting from its upper and lower faces and both ends. The upper rollers (9) are supporting rollers, the lower ones (10) are anti-tilt rollers, and the end rollers are designed to prevent lateral movement.
