Silicone-polyether copolymers used as surfactants, i.e. stabilizers and cell regulators, in the production of polyurethane cold foam

Silicone-polyether copolymers with a mol. wt. of more than 16,000, containing siloxane chains with more than 20, preferably more than 35 silicon atoms and polyether groups with a mol. wt. of more than 1200, preferably more than 2000, are used as surfactants in the production of polyurethane cold foam. Silicone-polyether copolymers of formula (I) with an average mol. wt. of more than 16,000 and an average number of silicon atoms per molecule of more than 20, preferably more than 35, are used as surfactants in the production of polyurethane cold foam. Rf = R<1> or R<2> R<1> = 1-6C alkyl or optionally substituted aryl, with at least 30% of these groups = methyl R<2> = polyether residues of formula -(Y)c(O(CxH2xO)pZ)w c = 0 or 1 x = 2 - 4 p = 1 or more w = 1 - 4; Z = H or a monovalent organic group; Y = a(w + 1)-coordinate hydrocarbon group, optionally branched the ratio (number of R<1> + number of R<2>)/number of R<2> = not more than 20 and at least one group R<2> has a mol. wt. of more than 1200, preferably more than 2000; b = 0 - 8; a = 2 - 100 if b = 6-8, 3-100 if b = 3-6, or 9-200 if b = 0-3
