The measurement process involves measuring a number of different measurement parameters in successive measurement cycles. The sequence of measuring the parameters is changed at least in some successive measurement cycles. Preferably the average value of the measurement values of each parameter obtained in several cycles may be determined and the average value may be evaluated for average value assessment. The sequence of measurements per cycle may be set to be random. A random vector may be formed with several different amplitude values and a predetermined measurement sequence may be associated with each amplitude value. The associated sequences may be stored.
