Digital frequency measuring circuit for electrical signals

The frequency measuring circuit has the input electrical signal (x(t)) supplied to a digital bandpass filter (2). This is followed by a frequency measuring stage (4), providing a measuring value (uf), proportional to the signal frequency ,at its output (5). The output of the bandpass filter is fed via a temporary memory (6) to a threshold stage (7), providing an output which is fed to a signal input of an evaluation device (10) for the output from the frequency measuring stage.
