<p>An inspection method for microorganisms and the like and a unit therefor comprising a culturing device, an image grabbing device, a computation processing device and a device for disposal of microorganisms and the like, which method utilizes such devices in order to predict in advance a state after the elapse of a given time with respect to microorganisms in a specimen of a sample taken from a substance or a body containing microorganisms by separating an image of the specimen into three primary colours, calculating out colour information data for the three primaries, comparing the data with first data collected in advance by means of the above described procedure for microorganisms and the like, or, optionally with overall data including the first data and second data such as genetic information for microorganisms, extracting the characteristic inherent in a particular microorganism, identifying the type of the microorganism, and calculating out an estimated state of breeding of the microorganism after the elapse of a given time.</p> |
