Transversal flux machine with mass-less passive rotor

The machine has several transversal magnetic circuits with the same output, a rotor (Rr), a shaft, a stator body carrying the magnetic circuits and a peripheral coil winding arranged between the magnetic circuit collector arrangements (S1,S2). Each magnetic circuit has two rotor parts next to the coil arrangement opposite the collector and separated from it by an air gap. The rotor parts consist of plate packets with inner and outer teeth (Z1,Z2) and tooth pitch double the collector pole distance. The collector extends over the entire axial length of the winding and rotor parts. The winding is axially divided in two. A connecting element between the coil halves engages the collector with corresp. teeth.
