The post has a profiled bottom end for driving into the ground and with a shaft linked to the bottom by an elastic joint. This enables the post to spring back upright after being displaced. The post is made of tubular material and the joint is braced by thrust plates. The elastic support has a spring (16) inside the tubular section. the joint can also be formed by a stack of thrust plates with hinges spaced around the edges for a universal joint action. The elastic joint can include a damping system.
