<p>A sprinkler head smaller in size, lower in production cost, and permitting piping installation prior to a ceiling work and a simple piping air-tightness test, comprising a frame in which an upper frame provided with a projection having a valve seat on the lower inner circumferential surface thereof and a lower frame having a plurality of inwardly projecting locking steps on the lower inner circumferential surface thereof are formed cylindrically; a nozzle having a locking member disposed vertically movably within the upper frame and restricting a downward movement by being engaged with the projection of the upper frame at the upper portion thereof and a plurality of sprinkling holes disposed at the lower portion thereof; a valve disc fixed air-tightly to the lower end of the nozzle and having on the outer circumferential surface thereof a packing that seats on the valve seat of the upper frame; a support member supporting the locking steps of the lower frame by being engaged therewith and turned for falling by an impact force of a pressurized water or an elastic force of a coil spring at the time of a fire; and a glass valve vertically disposed between the lower side of the valve disc and the support member and pressing the valve disc toward the valve seat using a pressing screw.</p> |
