The wheel end assembly (10) comprises a tube yoke (52) capable of being attached to an axle tube of the motor vehicle, and having an upper arm (54) portion having an opening (58) formed through it and a lower arm (56). The lower arm has a bore (68) formed through it, while there is an upper arm extension member having a first end and a second end. The first end includes an internal opening and the second end includes a bore through it. A steering knuckle (16) is rotatably coupled to a wheel spindle (34) of the motor vehicle, the steering knuckle having an upper mounting boss (18) positioned adjacent the bore in the upper arm extension member and a lower mounting boss (20) positioned adjacent the bore in the lower arm of the tube yoke, where the upper mounting boss and the lower mounting boss of the steering knuckle each include a bore extending through it.
