Method of operating an electric motor, esp. for a motor vehicle air conditioning system

The motor drives an adjustable device, esp. an air flap in an air conditioning system with a stop. The method involves signaling when the device encounters the stop and moving the electric motor backwards. Driving the device against the stop is detected by a motor overload detector. An Independent claim is also included for an arrangement for operating an electric motor, esp. for a motor vehicle air conditioning system.
