The clamping device consists of an adjustable, non-stretchable, rigid mask holder element (2), and an adjustable, non-stretchable, spring mask holder element (3), both of which are installed on a baseplate (1) upon which are located a helmet connecting element (5) and an adjusting device with eccentrics (4,6) installed on a pivot point (7) and an operating element (8). The mask holder elements consist of a single part or assembled parts, as do the baseplate and connecting element.
