Integral workshop for a heavy road vehicle

A modular construction workshop compartment has telescopic, height adjustable support legs (13;16) fitted with castors, and is retractably stowable between the road wheels of a vehicle by means of at least three rollers (9) mounted on a sub-frame (8) and running on one or more pair of rails (29;30) fixed to the vehicle floor. Movement of the stowed compartment during transit is prevented by a locking device (10).
