Hydraulic system filter

The hydraulic system fluid filter has a housing with two fluid connections, and through which hydraulic fluid can flow in both directions as required. The housing contains two filter elements (24, 25) each of which is a spring-loaded valve (28). The two are linked via a fluid collection chamber (27) to form back-flow prevention valves (29) operating in opposite directions. Depending upon the direction of flow, the fluid by-passes one of the filter elements.
