The present invention relates to a compressed gas operated weapon having a barrel /2/, a breech /3/, a casing /1/ with a trigger mechanism /4/, a conduit /6/ leading to a pressure chamber /7/ being performed between the barrel /2/ and the breech /3/, and a compensation mass /12/ longitudinally movable in countercurrent direction with respect to a projectile in the guide bore /10/ of the breech /3/. Between the compensation mass /12/ and a front bottom /11/ of the guide bore /10/ there is arranged a compression spring /9/. The compensation mass /12/ is provided with a holding-down mechanism /15/ of a locking element /17/ communicating with the trigger mechanism /4/, wherein the compensation mass /12/ is held in the armed position by the holding-down mechanism /15/ against the force of said compression spring /9/ and on firing it is moved back against the direction of projectile travel by the action of the compression spring /9/. |
